For the first time, RAPS is pleased to announce our participation in OpenStreetsTO this year! OpenStreetsTO is an event that opens up portions of Yonge and Bloor Streets to pedestrians to redefine what public space really is, and get people to enjoy and participate in the city they live in.

On August 16th and September 6th, from 8:00am-1:00pm RAPS will have a station set up at Bloor and Spadina, where we will hosting two events:

  1. Blackout poetry using planning policy.
  2. Drawing your neighbourhood from memory.

You can get involved in several different ways:

  • As a participant by showing up and taking in the event
  • As an evaluator by signing up here (free snacks, t-shirt, and swag!)
  • As an OpenStreetsTO Volunteer by signing up here
