RAPS is your undergraduate Course Union for the School of Urban and Regional Planning (SURP). We host social events like planning board game nights, networking events like the RU Planning Expo, guest lectures, and software tutorials for programs like AutoCAD and ArcGIS. Simply put, it’s our job to make your life at Ryerson more easy, exciting, and fun.

As an elected body of students, RAPS is responsible for a variety of events and programming, both inside and outside of the school that further the interests of the students we represent. In short, we represent you.

While continuing to hold tutorials and host guest speakers that speak to new technologies and developments as they evolve, it is our firm belief that the events we hold should be reflective of the students we represent. If you have a great idea for an event, let us know! As Jane Jacobs once wrote, “Cities have the capability of providing something for everybody, only because, and only when, they are created by everybody.”
